Herly Burley Grrlie are three firm friends forged together in the belly of the big city, trauma bonded by experience. Less a story of friendship and more a tale of survival.

In Spring 2025 I went on a residency to The Grange Projects with the initial concept drawing above. Whilst there I began refining the look of the characters; focussing on drafting sequential images and experimenting with narrative driven pages.
